A vacancy in Brighton
The Town of Brighton's Communications Director/Assistant to the Supervisor, Melissa Hantman, has called it quits after an eight month stint. Recently married and moving south, according to elected Town officials, Hantman's last day was Friday the 13th.
As a Cornhill resident since 2006 and the recipient of a 50K+ salary, Ms. Hantman had this to say back in November:
"I think the town of Brighton is a great place to live and work." Brighton-Pittsford Post 11/29/06
Bullshit. On both counts.
Perhaps, Commissioner of Public Works, Thomas Low, knows of a good spin doctor in Hilton. As Brighton goes Green they could set an example by prudent use of a Town vehicle and carpool together on their trek to Town Hall.

As I recall she was hired in a hurry to nuetralize criticizim (sic)leveled at the house of Frankel regarding the Proposed One Person Plowing Pilot Program. As such, she wrote and published in the Brighton Pittsford Post an article entitled "Meet Tom Low Highway GURU and More". Self serving opinion piece introducing Tom to the Citizens of Brighton, who have been suffering under his mismanagement and greed for 16 years. It cost taxpayers 53K, to hire a neophyte, to baffle us with BULL&^%!
Perhaps Ms Frankel thought it a wise investment to fend off her (until then) Loyal constituents in a battle of the Titans.... Bureaucratic smoke and mirrors VS. Engineering and Scientific thinking (Which Tom has abandoned long long ago.)
I remember the article by Frankel and it seems odd for Sandy to use the word guru. A quick google of some unique keywords in the article with Frankel's name returned no hits but the same words with Hantman provided several references. The article was obviously penned by Hantman for the Supervisor.
